WE HAVE THE MEGA SALE SCHEDULED FOR 8-15

IF THIS IS GOING TO HAPPEN, WE NEED PEOPLE TO HELP AND I NEED A CORE OF PEOPLE COMMITTED FOR US TO GO FORWARD

Bake sale –

Ruth can get people to bake things;

Need: baked goods priced and sold

two or three people to cover the 5 hours 8 - 1

To be done prior to the day:

1. arrange for large tent – waiting response from snowmobile club

2. extra tables – contact Kelly Castanguay

3 ads for papers – announce Mega Sale – one the week of 8/3 and one week of 8/10

4. flyers around town – vol to place them

5. electronic signs where possible – vol to ask businesses with electronic signs to use them

6. arrange for sandwiches for volunteers

7 make price signs and type of book signs

8. connect with Brenda and Ann regarding books;

any sorting that needs to be done before hand

9.develop layout plan for the books for the day itself –

10 Friends set prices

11 schedule for money takers –

12 notify police

13 letter to book dealers

14 cash for cash box

Friday 8-14

- small truck to pick up tent – Bill Taylor and _____________

- 6 person crew to set up tent and set out books – weather permitting

good job for adolescents carrying books

- tarps to cover books

Saturday 8-15 I need 5 or 6 people there at all times

- 7:15 – crew to lay out books if necessary

- set up canopies for money takers, and others

- schedule for money takers

- parking coordinator

- put out signs

- plastic bags

Saturday 12:30 –

6 – 8 volunteers to break down the set up;

take down the tent and bring back to Snowmobile Club
